What Could Be The Intense Pain In The Upper Abdomen After Surgery For Inguinal Hernia?

40 yrs old 5'9'' 220lbs.8 days ago I had inguinal hernia repair laproscopy on my right side after surgery have intence pain in upper abdomen approx.6inches to the right side same pain i had when i was having my vacectomy 10 years ago when he pulled on the cord to clip it except this is not going away any idea what it is?

there may be intense pain in the abdomen after surgery for inguinal hernia due to the following reasons
1. Anaesthesia will subside after 6gours of surgery so there can be pain after surgery
2. The catgut after suturing will become dry
