What Could Be The Cause For Dull Pain In Both Knees With Soreness And Stiffness Throughout The Day?
HI, my name is Jennifer and I am 17 years old. Recently I have developed a dull aching pain in both of my knees. They hurt nearly all the time especially in the morning. They both get very stiff and sore throughout my school day, due to walking up and down stairs all day. I was wondering what possibilities could be causing this??
Hello Since you are just 17 years ,so pain in both knee may be due to these possibilities , these includes. 1 Rheumatoid arthritis , get in blood examination for rheumatic factor .Also get in blood for E S R ( if level of E S R is very high may be due to rheumatoid disease). 2 OSTEOARTHRITIS , 2nd reason may be osteoarthritis so get in C T scan of both joints and consult an orthopedic surgeon for further assessment . 3 Obesity and over exertion are other possible reason in this case , so keep in mind this possibility . In my opinion consult an orthopedic surgeon and get his opinion. As this is a cause of concern.Good luck.
