What Could Be The 7 Mm Lump On Left Chest That Was Shown In CT Scan?
My husband had a ct scan because of his on going pain with shingles, his doctor ordered a ct scan. The results was a 7 millimeter lump on his left chest, will see his doctor next week, just wondering what it could be. I know your advise is limited, can you tell what it could be?

Lump over the chest wall may be due to many reasons.
It may be due to lipoma,neurofibroma,lymph node etc.
He need proper clinical examination.Most of the superficial structures can be identified by clinical examination and investigations.
He has very small lump. It need follow up regarding size enlargement,pain etc.
If there is associated pain or increase in size then he should consult surgeon.
