General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
It can be a renal stone.
Get an ultrasound of your abdomen done to look for the lump and the stone.
Also hernia cant be diagnosed on an x-ray and a few stones are not seen on it.
You need to see a surgeon if you suspect a hernia.

Regards
Dr. Ashish Verma
