What Could A Painful, Hard Lump In The Throat, That Restricts Neck Movement And Swallowing, Indicate?

I am a seventeen year old male, above my Adam's apple and slightly to the right, I have noticed a very hard and slightly painful lump. It moves when I swallow, and prevents certain neck/head movements. It is not on the outer skin "like a pimple would be" it's on the inside. I have absolutely no energy or desire to move, and I can't sleep well at night.. Any idea on what this may be and if the two are related?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello. there are various possibilities for the swelling, like a mass coming from your larynx ( wind pipe) or thyroid. it is also likely you may be having low thyroid hormone levels which is causing the lethargy. please meet your ENT doctor, as you will need some tests, he will guide you further. please dont ignore this problem and meet him soon!
thanks
