Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a truck driver. I was shut down for 40 hours in a truck stop once and i got real inebriated. Well i think i slept with one of my friends but she told me thst she did not have any stds or anything to that effect. A couple days after this happened i started seeing some yellowish white colored discharge from my penis. No burning or stinging when i pee. No testicular pain or anything like that. I do have to pee quite often but its not very much. Im afraid it may be something worse but im not quite sure how to go about finding out as like i said before im a truck driver so i am not home much. Any advice would be great thanks
The only way to definitively determine if an infection is present would be to do testing. This would involve blood tests, urine and swab.
These tests would be for the possible sexual transmitted infections. The blood tests would be for the infections- herpes, syphilis, HIV , (hepatitis is also considered a possible sexually transmitted infection but would not cause penile discharge. The urine tests would be for chlamydia and gonorrhea.
The swab would be for trichomonas.
I hope this helps
