General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is suggestive of fungal infection. Based on the history you seem to be suffering from a fungal infection called tinea cruris ("jock itch"). I recommend anti-fungal drugs (Miconazole or Clotrimazole) to be applied to the affected areas after consulting your doctor. Besides, keep the area dry and clean, and wear loose undergarments.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
