What Causes Weight Loss While Having High Cholesterol Levels?

I have lost weight from 168 to 148. I have not been driving for 2 and a half years ( I work in Africa) I have been walking everyday going up and down a hill to and from work. My cholesterol is still very high LDL 198 and HDL 39. What else can I do to lower/increase these levels?

Welcome to HCM
-Losing weight does not lead to high cholesterol unless you are doing a wrong diet to lose weight. your main goal is lower LDL level enough to reduce your risk of developing heart disease or having a heart attack.
-To correct this equation you must do:
1-Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes includes a cholesterol-lowering
diet (called the TLC diet) and physical activity .
2-Drugs like Statine ,Fibrates,Niacin (You can use one of them or combined depend on your general health status)
Best Regards
