Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Vision Problems And Frequent Urination While Having Blocked Liver Arteries?
My husband only has half of his pancreas as well as blocked arteries in his liver. These were caused by getting severely injured playing football. He regularly takes creon when he eats and is on diuretics. Other than that he is healthy. The last week, however he has been having vision problems and seems to be urinating more often than usual.
Noted the history about your husband and understood your concerns. The liver and pancreas problems may not be related to the present problem of vision problems and frequent urination. Hence I Would advise you the following for your husband: Take him to the Ophthalmologist as this may be an acute and urgent problem that when diagnosed early can be helped by an appropriate management. Send urine for tests: Routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity. IF there is any urinary tract infection he will need a proper course of an antibiotic for 2 weeks. Plenty of water orally. Urinary alkalinizer. Ultrasonography to review the liver and pancreas and to see for any urinary tract problems. All this under the Specialist's guidance can help to get a proper diagnosis and proper management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
