Hello dear Understand your concern
Chance of pregnancy is less you took
Emergency contraceptive pill with in 12 hour after the sex. It is effective in preventing the pregnancy up to 95-97 percent. Also you did sex in infertile phase of cycle, at this time ovum is not released so less chance of pregnancy.
Bleeding is due to hormonal imbalance because Emergency
contraception pill contain high
progesterone level. First it support the endometrium but bleeding generally occur 6-7 days after taking contraception pill due to progesterone withdrawal effect.
Do not worry it is common problem and bleeding will disappear in 3-4 days.
If bleeding will not stop, following cause should be rule out by consulting the gynaecologist:
Endometrial dysplasia or cancer:
endometrial biopsy is needed.
Cervical polyp and dysplasia: PAP smear and vaginal examination
Vaginal infections: diagnosed by swab test.
So wait for few days, its definitely stops and it continues then consult the gynaecologist to diagnose above cause:
Hope this will help you
Best regards
