What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Taking Regestrone?

Today is the third day of recurrent bleeding PV after 15 days on registrone tab which was taken to control excessive bldg for for more than 25 days. Today is painful than these two days gone. I have taken etova p 400. Shall I take one tab of trenexa MF along with etova p?? Kindly reply sir

Hello,

Firstly, I would like to know the reason why you were prescribed Regestrone tablets. I can understand there was excessive bleeding, but you should do USG of the lower abdomen with some specification.
I would like to give some tests:
1. Complete Blood Tests
2. CT, BT, PLT
3. Lower Abdomen USG (including endometrial thickness)
4. thyroid Function tests (T3, T4, TSH)
5. Estrogen, progesterone
6. FSH, LH

Number 3,5,6 must be done on Day 2 of your next cycle.
Also, you can use the following medications:
1. For extreme pain, consider dicyclomine hydrochloride tab
2. From Day 1 to Day 5, Tranexamic acid (with Mefenamic acid) should be taken 3 to 4 times daily. Must be stopped at Day 5.
3. Vitamin B12 and Iron tabs are also suggested.
