General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The smell in the breath is not related to the urinary tract infection. There are many causes of the bad breath such as poor oral hygiene, gum disease, tooth decay, or mouth infections. I suggest to consult a dentist for a physical examination. Meanwhile,I suggest gargling with salty water.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
