What Causes Tissue Piece Discharge From Vagina Inspite Of Being On Birth Control?

I am on luthera birth control, three months ago I took two plan b pills in one month, while taking my birth control normally. I had a huge piece of tissue come out, well it has happened again this month and I have not taken any plan b, but I have been taking my birth control regularly. My doc said it s from stress. There is also a very weird smell when I change my tampon. Can you help me?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The tissue is sloughed endometrial tissue with mucus and blood. It is completely normal. If the bad odor worsens or you develop pain, or itching follow up with your ObGyn to rule out possible vaginal infections.

Hope I was able to help you
