What Causes Tingling, Bruise And Pain In Upper Arm?
Upper left arm ache that goes down my arm to a tingling in my hands. And a small bruise recently appeared on upper arm, very small, like little less then size of a dime. There was huge pain in my arm on Saturday, it s gone down, but tingling and slight ache still there and now the bruise. What is going on?
Tingling or bruise can indicate nerve damage or compression. All causes of neuropathy or peripheral neuropathy should be ruled out. Diabetes, sciatica, nutritional deficiencies such as vitamin B12 deficiencies, autoimmune disease, certain medication side effects should be ruled out. Treatment is based on the cause. Hot compress and vitamin B12 injection can reduce the symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
