What Causes Throat And Ear Pain?

I have pain on the right side of my throat and my ear hurts. I saw a doctor and he said my ear wasn't infected but I am on day two of my z pack and no relief, I also have ear drops which don't seem to make it down my ear canal the least bit. This pain is on the right side only.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having pharyngitis giving you referred pain in your ear.
Continue with antibiotic Z-pack for 3-5 days and you will be alright.
t\To get temporary relief from pain, take Ibuprofen as and when required.
Do salt water gargles.
Avoid cold drinks, junk food.
Ok and take care.
