What Causes Thirstiness, Frequent Urination And Low Blood Sugar Levels?

Hello. I have been extremely thirsty, urinate often, and feel like my blood sugar gets really low often throughout the day. However, some days are good. When I feel it is low I get shaky, feel weak, and just feel like something isn't right. I eat constantly...like every hour or so. I am in my thirties and am not overweight at all. I have not lost weight, but have to eat a lot to maintain my 117-120lbs. A year ago I had my blood work done and my sugar was 107 but after a few months it was 77. So, it was normal. I was not having the major symptoms like am now. Should I go and get checked for diabetes or no?

You might be having attacks of hypoglycemia, where there is too much insulin released in your system and your blood sugar keeps getting too low. That could be the reason you're eating constantly- your body is trying to keep your blood sugar at normal levels. You need to see your doctor and get checked for that and diabetes. Some of the tests done for both conditions are the same. You also might be having problems with other glands that affect your metabolism, such as the thyroid or adrenal glands. See your doctor and get checked for these possibilities. Hope this helps.
