What Causes The Crackling Sound In Left Ear?

my left ear often has a crackling sound, like a broken speaker. generally speaking i can hear just fine. my right ear never gives me any problems. it happens most frequently when i am listening to music (not loud music) but happens out of the blue as well. this has been going on for 13 years and is really getting annoying. thank you.

Hello

The crackling sound may not be related to the ear and may be due to the rubbing of the jaw joint. Please meet an ent doctor who will examine you and guide you further.

Thanks
