What Causes Swollen Upper Thighs And Labia Minora?

I have swelling in my upper thighs I noticed a few days ago. I had an ultrasound done and rules out blood clots. Then yesterday I noticed that my labia minora was extremely swollen on the left side only. A couple weeks before this I did notice, what I thought was a large pimple developing. It now feels like a large cyst, marble size. My doctor doesn t seem concerned and I m freaking out.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to some cystic lesion like Bartholin cyst or vulval cyst. Other possibility is allergic reaction as in some insect bite reaction. As of now you can take antihistamines like Pheneramine for relief as it will help to reduce pain and swelling in insect bite reaction. If the swelling persist, better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
