What Causes Swollen Lymph Node Near Left Ear And Numb Hands?

I have a swollen nymph node in back of my left ear and have numbness in my hands and shoulder which starts after I lie down at night. I sometimes have a hair problem alopecia areta which flares up sometimes. I have a headache and my ear is hurting enough for me to actually consider getting a appt with a doctor.
