What Causes Swelling In Throat?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hi, about a month ago my throat was swollen on the left side, and I have a tingle in my vagina. Last week I went for my annual and I was tested for STD s. I was informed by the nurse that the test can back positive for being exposed for herpes 1/2. 3 of my husbands Dr. told me not to worry that if there was no signs of this disease that I shouldn t be alarmed. I was supposed to go for a follow up to further discuss this, but my hubby asked me no to. My Q. is could they be right, should I not worry? Or should I go for a second opinion. I had asked to get another exam at my hubby Dr., but he said it wasn t necessary.

This sexually transmitted herpes comes and goes. Hence your husband might have said no for going to th Doctor.
Surely yes, second opinion is always the best way as you may get added information and precautions to be taken.
Also get checked for all STDs, who known the outcome.
Since there are no signs of the disease as told by your Doctor, stop worrying.
Your husband should be checked, investigated so that any other associated problems can be found and addressed to.
As for recurrence your Doctors would advise well and you should follow well.
