What Causes Swelling In Jaw In Case Of A Child?

good afternoon. My 3 year old son has slight swelling to his left jaw, near the back, and it feels quite hard to touch. He is absolutely fine, no difference in himself, happy, content, eating and drinking as normal. He has had his MMR vaccination, so quite unsure as to what it could be. HELP!

thanks for your query
i would like to ask you whether all his deciduous teeth erupted or not ..
whether he got any infection few days back?
size of swelling???
it could be a normal variation also.. OR may be a l.n. enlargement or any bony prominence or parotid gland infection or any tooth infection...
i would suggest you for thorough checkup of your child by a dentist..

hope my answer will help you
take care
