What Causes Swelling In Feet When Diagnosed With Parkinson?

My husband is 65 yrs old and was diagnosis with parkinson about 2yrs ago, his PD is controlled, but for the past few wks his feet is swelling, he went to the Dr. and was told he had a heart murmur, an echo and other testing was done. Result he is being treated with lasix, but the swelling presist. What should be done at at this point. He also coughs mostly at night and sometimes wake up feeling afraid.

To me it sounds like two separate issues. PD doesn’t cause edema. Maybe a side effect of a medication or something which has nothing to do at all with the PD. Please let his doctor have a look at him asap.
