What Causes Swelling In Feet After Nail Surgery?

Good evening ... I am 23 years old .. a female .About 12 years ago, i underwent a surgery in my feet nails as my nails were growing from both sides deeply in the flesh causing purulence. Immediately after the surgery my left feet got swelled. I consulted many doctors who advised that this swelling is caused by a weakness in my blood vessels. They prescribed me Daflon and to wear some special socks for swelling. I am also having varicose . I do not know if this swelling is attributable to the nails surgery or to the weakness in blood vessel ?... So i am getting desperate that my foot will be back to the normal shape .... Would appreciate so much your kind assistance
