General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of your girlfriend are related to diabetes.

The syndrome of diabetes sweating excessively after eating is often related to peripheral neuropathy.

The damage is especially to a nerve that goes to the parotid gland, the large salivary gland in the cheek.

There is no treatment.

I recommend your girlfriend to maintain under control the blood sugar level.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
