What Causes Sudden Pain In Leg, Sweating And Fainting Sensation?

My husband just got serious pain in his upper left leg, began sweating profusely and his face went a pasty colour. He felt he was going to faint near the end and a bit queasy. This total episode lasted about 7 minutes. He's a bit shook up as this has never happened before.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sudden pain in leg, sweating and fainting sensation. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like vasovagal syncope , middle ear infection , labyrinthitis , medication reaction or side-effect or hypoglycemia . I would suggest you to keep your self hydrate by taking lot of fluids , take benadryl twice a days , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and take proper rest . If condition doesn't get well then consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like blood test and take history to confirm the diagnosis and treat it accordingly .
