What Causes Sudden Abdominal Pain With Vomiting During Menstruation?
Hello doctor, for 3months now i have this sharp pain on the left side of my abdomen. And it comes with vomiting while having my period which comes with sudden vomiting. Am worried please what can that possibly be? And i did my artificial insemination 18 of this month hoping to test for pregnancy on the 1 of sep.But bleeding just came up 2days ago thinking it was inplantation but it became heavier like my normal period. Are you sure i have a chance of testing posive? Please i need your reply thanks in advance.
Hello, Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. The pain is corresponding to the onset of the menstrual cycle and the possible causes are- endometriosis, cyst of the ovary, pelvic infection with a possible inflammatory mass that exacerbates during the period owing to the increased vascularity. In the current scenario, you may not have conceived as you saw your natural period after the procedure. Please see a specialist for proper evaluation and plan further management. You need a sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route to know the status of the pelvic organs. Hope this helps.
