What Causes Stomach Pain?

I started noticing a disturbing pain yesterday afternoon in my stomach around my lower ribs. I can't locate the exact place. I thought it was the rib itself but it was not. I feel the pain mostly when I want to turn in bed or bend sideways. Please help me..
