What Causes Stomach Pain And Vomiting To A 5 Year Old Frequently?

My 5 year old son complains of stomach pain and vomits what he eats. This happens for evry 2-3 months, and evrytime when we go to doctor, he prescribes Junior Lanzol 15mg tablets. Since this is happening very often, I am more worried. Is there something more I should be looking into?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to Hcm,
This symptom you mentioned are very commonly seen in this age group children, especially they eat what ever they can. One such episode which is not too severe and is relived by junior lanzol every 2-3 mths is not a matter of concern. If I were your pediatrician, I would have given albendazole just to take care of any stomach bug. Gt his diet regularized and make sure he never misses breakfast. A discipline in his dietary habits will sort out his issue to a great extent. Take care.
