What Causes Stomach Pain And Diarrhea After Gallbladder Removal?

Hi - had gallbladder removed 1 year ago.. still many stomach problems, gnawing pain upper right quadrant, then results in explosive diaherria and vomitting, horrible pain. comes almost daily. now i can only eat white foods - bread rice pasta potatoe etc., as everythign else causes this problem. i have lost 55 lbs. (which puts me at normal weight now). i have had ultrasounds, colonoscopy, and the one down the throat with camera, (sorry can't remember the name of hte procedure) as well as the breath test. Noone can find any cause for this.. it is a huge problem, i can't leave house without "toilet paper and supplies " fo rthe car etc... and now becoming housebound to avoid these painful episodes .. any ideas ?

thank you for posting query.

post cholecystectomy pain maybe due to stones in common bile duct OR increased fat intake OR functional pain.
need further evaluation.

advice:
- take nexium/pantocid 40mg once daily before breakfast (for the rest of your life)
- take metoclopramide or domeperidone before meals for 33 to 5 days
- get an ultrasound (abdomen) to rule out any stone remnants in common bile duct
- also get a complete blood cell count(CBC) test
- avoid OILY food altogether
- avoid eating stomach full and mouth full
- avoid spicy food

wish you good health.
