What Causes Stomach Cramps And Symptoms Of Menstruation After Taking Plan-B?
Hi, my girlfriend and I had unprotected sex around 2-3 weeks ago and used Plan B within 72 hours. She got her period earlier than she expected and has had period symptoms ever since that period went away. Is that the plan B still in her system or pregnancy? Also, we had unprotected sex again 4 days ago and she still has period symptoms and her stomach always has a pain somewhere in it, please help as I am very scared.

Your girlfriend has taken Plan B within 72 hrs of sexual intercourse, presently she has discomfort due to symptoms of menstruation. Side effect of Plan B causes irregular periods, spotting, heavier or lighter bleeding or getting period earlier or later than normal. Plan B is taken after each episode of unprotected penetrative sex.
If you all had sex again and she did not take any emergency CP within 72 hours and is not on regular CP then chances of pregnancy are there. If she misses periods than you should wait for a couple of days and then get urine test or blood test done to confirm pregnancy. You can also visit a gynecologist and get her clinically examined at the earliest.
