What Causes Stiffness In The Feet And Fatigue While On Gabapentin?
I am takining gabapintine X4 months now. My feet feel like they are stiff and hard to walk off and on during the day. My hands sting modt of the day. But my lower back pain is better. I am extremly tired and sometime just walking from on room to the other is all i csn do. It was not like this before the meds. All i had was the back pain that was extreme do you think the meds are causing the new pain and symptoms
Based on the history you have shared, Gabapentin act on GABA receptors and occasionally present with dizziness, and may cause feeling lethargic or exhausted but few of these symptoms suggest to be worked up for spinal stenosis and lower back pain may be due to disc slip or compression on nerves which have now progressed as course of disease to cause such symptoms so a detailed neurological examination and neurosurgeon review along with radiological scans may be needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
