Hello. Everyday for the last two weeks I wake up with a stiff neck and shoulders. Specifically the sides of my neck and the top of shoulders. It is usually accompanied by a moderate headache. Whichever side I m laying on hurts during sleep and I have to turn over every hour or so. The symptoms seem to worsen while I sleep, although I have changed pillows and sleeping habits. If I touch the sides of my neck it feels like either the veins or nerves are hurting, not so much my muscles due to the fact that I can feel the origination of pain and it feels like a vein or nerve. Mostly on the right side of my neck. I also experienced some vertigo while laying down just before it started happening, although it stopped and I m not sure it s related.
