What Causes Speech Difficulty Upon Intake Of Olmesartan And Rosuvastatin?

First of all I am 60. ... Descent health. I wasn t having any type problems. My dr. Put me on Benicar and ... ..? After a while insurance put me on generic meds.( olmesartan and rosuvastatin ) That s when I started having trouble with my speech and it has gotten worst and worst. Did barium procedure and now the throat dr. Want me to see a neurologist and a speech therapist If this cost anything please let me know before you speak. Question is what the heck caused this and what do I do about it..?

We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it may not have been due to the medications you have mentioned but because of primary conditions these drugs are prescribed with including hypertension and dyslipidemia as it can cause blood vessels blockage in brain due to thrombus formation. Brain imaging may be needed as well Wishing you a speedy recovery.
