What causes soreness in the muscle along with sinus congestion?

Hope you re having a most excellent day. I, on the other, awoke with some very strong muscle aches (very soar!), chills (on & off chilling and warming feelings), and some sinus congestion. The following are the proactive things I m doin right now... *Stretching out arms, legs & backs. *Drinking water, 7-UP, and Orange Juice. *Getting ready to take a nap. *Benedryl (2 at meals & before bed), flexeril (muscle relaxation), aspirin *Painful urination. What else do you reccomend at this early point??? Thanks, George Dunn

You seem to have viral influenza (common cold). For that only treatment is symptomatic and there is no need to worry it will self limit with time.

Make sure you take plenty of fluids, hydration is must in acute viral infections.

You can take Paracetamol up to three tab maximum for pain relief or fever in case you have any of one.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
