What Causes Sore Throat And Breathlessness After Discontinuation Of Penidure Injection?
11years back I suffered from rheumatic fever and was cured by penidure,LA12, but I didn t continue d injection for five years as prescribed.I used it for three years. Of late I have been frequently falling sick due to fever, throat infection ,boil,skin problem, heavy heart etc. My doctor asked me to re start penidure for 5years. Shall I follow his advise although I haven t suffered from rheumatic fever all these years? Please advise.thanks in advance.

Hello,
You are having complaints of fever and throat infection other skin infections. They may be due to strep. You can do blood test like ASO titre, CBC, ESR and ECG. No harm in continue the Peniduer injection to prevent Rheumatic.
