What Causes Slight Neck Pain With Pulsation?

I've had congestive heart failure for two years. Over the past three days, if I tilt my head to the right I feel slight pain on the left side of my neck and it pulsates. I have also been fatigued and have had a head cold. What could the pain in my neck be?

Hi, thank you for asking healthcare magic
I understand your concerns

With this presentation, I think the pain you feel on your neck might be muscular in origin and may not be related to the heart failure. It is possible that you might overstretched the neck muscles on the left side of the neck. The pain would go on its own but if you find it disturbing, you may try over-the-counter pain killers.

As far as fatigue is concerned, it might be related to the heart failure or not. You may see your attending physician if it persists

I hope I have answered your query
I wish you well
