What Causes Sinusitis Along With Constipation And Fever?

54 year old man has been sick approx 1mouth doc says sinusitis pt has been very constipated with fever daily given zpack finished zpack products taken for constitution only very small movement if any fever continues pt feels very sick . doc also said protein in your. Should follow up with doc. Pt. Still sick and running fever. Would u no what could b wrong an what should he do

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have inusitis along with constipation and fever which could be due to bacterial/ viral infection and due to underlying medical condition. It could be due to poor immunity of body. You should take some ptobiotics food along with more fibrous contents in your food . I would suggest you to consult your doctor again and discuss about the course of antibiotics . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics at least for 10 days ( amoxicillin or penicillin ) , decongestant and expectorant . For now take steam twice a day to relieve congestion , apply hot compresses on face and do drink plenty of warm water with one spoon of honey in it .
