Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, in my opinion your son is having either lung infection or bronchitis.
He is already on antibiotics and still feeling chest congestion.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. Chest x ray to rule out lung infection.
3. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out bronchitis.
He may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
Mucolytic and expectorant drugs are also helpful to relieve chest congestion.
Since all these drugs are prescribed medicines, better to consult doctor.
Hope I have solved your.
Wishing good health to your son.
Thanks.
