What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Tightness In Chest?
Very recently I ve noticed some shortness of breath and tightness in my chest. I am somewhat overweight, female age 66, and pretty healthy overall, with few meds. Two months ago I fell and broke both wrists, so I ve been less active than usual and take Ibuprofen every 6 hours. Could there be a connection?

Based on the history you have shared, you should get an EKG and echocardiogram to rule out cardiac causes of shortness of breath with chest tightness.
Chest X-ray for any lung related issues should also be done. Meanwhile losing weight, can be helpful. With brufen, without stomach antacids may cause gastritis but less likely to be cause for your symptoms.
