What Causes Severe Pain With A History Of Sciatica?

I am a 41 year old female 6 years post Bariatric, 5 years post ventral hernia repair with Bard mesh. I was told not to have MRIs done due to mesh. My sacrum rotated out and last night I was diagnosed. In ER with Sciatica and Sacroiliitus. I have severe pain on left side, no feeling in left outer and top thigh, and my bladder leaks badly. Is it safe for me to have MRI now for neurologist, has the tissue grown through mesh enough to hold in place? I am very scared to have MRI done. They gave me two shots of Demerol, one shot of Valium and a steroid shot. I asked them for nonnarcotic meds to go home with and they prescribed Ultram, Robaxin, and predisone. Also they told me to return if bladder or bowel loses control (which bladder is) what is the significance of that because I don't have a ride to return to ER for about another 5 hours. Thank you.
