What Causes Severe Pain In Lower Back And Neck Post Trauma?

Yes I was involved in a auto accident and hot hit in the rear at red light.make a long story short, I have a attorney and went thru all the processes of physical therapy and shots ,more,xrays. I have moved closed to Do than Alabama back in April of this year. My case is still open. I have been driving back and forth about 5hrs away one a month to my pain management doctor and get my meds refilled. I am looking for for one here to continue treatment and look into surgeries about my new injuries. My lower back,and back of my neck. Can you refer one to me that will take my heelth insurance. Humana Pop?

Hi,

NOted your history about an accident that caused neck pain and pain in low back.
The obvious causes can be ads follows:
The accidents at road are notorious in a sense that many injuries show up late and thus needs the following
The commonest investigations for neck and low back pain can be in the form of MRI of the affected area as MRI shows soft tissues and nerves better than any other investigations.
Myalgia, muscle spasm and fibromyalgia in a later stage can cause pain and in case of back the nerve injuries, pinching and so can cause persistent pains.
MRI guided diagnosis and plan for management is the best way.
Chiropractors help a lot.
May need Physiotherapy and muscle relaxation techniques.
Hence the point is to get the most proper diagnosis so that an appropriate management can be done.
