General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.

I appreciate your concern for the pain in the left leg.

After having gone through your problems I am of the opinion that you are suffering from painful nerve condition referred to as neuropathy which can occur if the blood glucose is not controlled or if HbA1c is not maintained in the normal range.

So kindly consult your treating doctor for proper work up (estimation of blood glucose, HbA1c, urine analysis, kidney function tests, etc) and possible use of drugs like Amitryptiline or Gabapentine to treat the painful nerves. You may also need Vitamins like Mecobalmine which is effective in reducing the pain from the nerves.

Hope to have answered your query.
