But surfing through the internet, we feel that it may be migraine. Pain would be one side and around the eye brows. The pain is intolerable, jus like hammering the head. Especially my wife is suffering a lot in the recent days. At that time, she is vomitting also. And the pain lasts for more than 6 hours. She is mother now and also doing breast feeding, what kind of medications to follow and will it affect our baby. Pls help us.

HHi dear.

I had gone through your query.

Episodic headache with throbbing in nature may indicate migraine.

Migraine has young onset / episodic / throbbing in nature/ unilateral / associated with nausea and vomiting.

If it is migraine then acute attack can be relieved by analgesic like paracetamol and diclofenac.

Prevention of such attack by prophylaxis treatment.

Medicines like amitriptiline/flunarizine/propranalol etc can help.

Consult neurologist and get assistance.

Still if you have a query then feel free to ask.

Happy to help you further.

Thank you.
