What Causes Severe Fatigue And Excessive Weight Gain?

hello! we are doing a science project where we have to help someone with something and ours is a 27-year-old with extreme tiredness and she has been gaining weight, she has a sore throat and she is breathing abnormality. she also drinks. we found out that she is not pregnant, does not have sleep apnea, and her grandmother had colon cancer and her grandfather lad lung cancer. can you help?

I can suggest you to recommend her to do diabetes tests, fasting glucose levels, and postprandial levels. Type 1 diabetes may be possible.

Also, hypothyroidism gives these symptoms. So T3, T4 and TSH hormones may need to be tested.
