General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pain located in the neck is a common medical condition.

Examples of common conditions causing neck pain are neck strain, poor posture, neck injury such as in whiplash, a herniated disc, or a pinched nerve.

I suggest you do an x-ray of the neck to confirm the diagnosis.

Meanwhile, I suggest using painkillers such as Ibuprofen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
