What Causes Right Abdominal Pain With Stomach Inflammation?

I just had edoscopy on Monday. I have severe stomach inflammation. Hiatel hernia and Gerd. Why do I have some pain in my right side too? Isn t your stomach located on the left side. Wasnt sure if the pain radiates. I was nervous because five years ago I had my gallbladder removed. Wasn t sure if I had a liver problem. Thank you, Susan

Hi thanks for contacting health care magic....

Here you might have reffered pain from gastritis along with acid reflux....

Liver problem also should be rule out by USG abdomen and liver enzymes study...

You have diagnosed hiatus hernia with acid reflux.
For which life style measures taken.
Omeprazole taken to reduce acidity.
Excess spicy food avoided.
Excess fatty food restricted as they delay gastric emptying.
Smoking not done....
Coffe, chocolate , pestries restricted as they relax LOS....
Fruits more.
Don't recumbent immediate after meal.
Head elevation while sleeping.

If no improvement surgical correction for hiatus hernia done....

If right side pain seems to be by colitis then antibiotic taken for it.

If still no improvement consult gastroentetologist for examination.
