Hi, my 5 year old daughter has a very red rash (looks like a sunburn) not bumpy on her privates . The skin is actually peeling . It has now moved to her bottom about an 1 inch on each side close to the inside of her rectum. She has been complaining of an upset tummy and does not want to eat much. Any suggestions.? No fever

Welcome to HCM

If the frequency of stools increases or if the acid content of stools increases such peri-anal excoriations can happen.

For your daughter as there is associated stomach upset she will require an antibiotic course to cure her infection.

T.junior lanzol 30mg 1-0-0 before food for 3 days
Syp.oflox (5ml=100mg) 5ml-0-5ml for 5 days
Siloderm ointment and candiderma ointment to be applied alternatively thrice a day over the excoriations.
She will be fine.
