I have tiny red blood spots on my chest, stomach, some on my hip area and one side 15-29 that came on suddenly. I am on prednisone, (down to 4 mg) and blood pressure med. Plus on 50,000 mg of vitamin D because some deteriation of my spine was found with a bone density scan, when none existed 2 years ago.They originally thought I had polymyalgia rheumatica, but sed rate was normal and symptoms not classic. Also tested for Rheumatoid Arthritis, but blood test normal. When steriods were cut back last week to 1 mg, the swelling in my finger joint and wrist and 1 ankle came back, so back up to 4mg. Taking this for 10 months now. So, not sure what I have and now have red blood spots the size of a lead pencil point. Do you have any suggestions or answers for me ?
