General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per the history you have provided this looks to be mastoiditis again and a mild form causes only discomfort. Hence I would advise you to consult an ENT surgeon for proper endoscopic evaluation of your ENT problems. CT scan and MRI as a combo-study of mastoids ad relevant cranial nerves will help to get a proper diagnosis of mastoiditis or nerve problem or as found out.

Tests of blood for infection. Antibiotics help only for control of bacterial infection. You may need good anti-inflammatory medicines. Any additional treatment will be as per the cause found. Trigeminal or other neuralgia needs to be ruled out.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
