General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The nausea, body chills and headache may be indicative of underlying GI infection through some sort of bacteria or virus most likely irrelevant to the cancer history. My guidelines at present:
- Drink more liquids in sessions
- Prefer bland, vegan diet
- Avoid spices, non-veg, junk foods, dairy fat
- Prescription of:
anti-emetic as ondancetron
proton pump inhibitor as esomeprazole
GI specific antibiotic as rifaximin anti-pyretic as paracetamol or acetaminophen with your primary care provider

Discuss the need of any basic lab work as complete blood counts with or without serum widal test to look into the matter from microbiological point of view.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
